The most installed panel from Magen, the roof mounting system utilizes a "Claw" style mount on both the top and bottom headers. The bottom mount provides for thermal expansion and contraction of the panel. The mounting system is designed to engage the roof rafters and is not installed in just the roofing plywood.
If your pool needs repairs, we've got you covered. From leaks and cracks to equipment malfunctions, our team can quickly diagnose and fix any issue.
Both the Heliocol and Sunstar panels are able to be anchored to 24" center line roofing rafters.
We use structural hex head drive, 3" long structural lag bolts that are rated for extreme loads.
Some brands only anchor on 52" center lines. They use stainless steel band clamps, hose tubing and anchors to fasten the panels to the roof underlayment which is usually only 3/4" plywood. The lag bolt engagement is only a few threads in the plywood. These brands normally also use "Wind Straps".
Both the Heliocol and Sunstar panels don't use nor are required to have "Wind Straps". Normally 2 straps going across the array are used for other brands of panels. There are two roof penetrating strap mounts for each panel plus the strap ends.
We understand that proper piping is important. We use long sweep elbows, 2" schedule pipe, isolation valves that you can repair without cutting the pipe to replace. Clear check valves to view and inspect the flow flapper. And most important is including a Flow meter to adjust the panel flow for maximum performance.

One of the most widely installed brands in the world.

Note it's elongation to allow for thermal expansion and contraction

Note the left side oversized pipe mount that allows for supply side pipe to move due to temperature changes.
The mount on the right side allows for temperature changes in the solar panel.
The panel slides on the bolt secured portion of the mound.
